Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s former foreign minister and president of the Paiab Institute, responded to Donald Trump’s remarks in a post on his X account.
He used the phrase “The Bully-in-Chief” to refer to the U.S. president instead of the official title “Commander-in-Chief.” He criticized Trump for treating the UN General Assembly as a battlefield for war rhetoric reminiscent of Stone Age conflicts and responded to what he described as Trump’s insults against the Iranian people.
The Bully-in Chief mistook UNGA for a Stone Age battleground, threatening to commit the mother of all war crimes in “ annihilating a nation.”
